• From legal documents provided to us by our customers related to their use of the LegalMation platform; or

Information You Provide to Us

Legal Documents from Customers for Processing through the LegalMation Platform

We offer the LegalMation platform, which allows our customers to generate certain results based on legal documents they provide to us. For example, our customers may provide to us legal pleadings, discovery requests, discovery responses, subpoenas, demand letters, and related documents. Our processing of legal documents is governed by the terms of our service agreements with our customers, and not this Privacy Policy. In the event we are permitted to process the information for our own purposes, we will process the information in accordance with the practices described in this Privacy Policy. Also, any information we collect in our portals about a customer’s interactions related to the LegalMation platform (except for legal documents submitted) is subject to this Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for how our customers treat the information we process on their behalf, and we recommend you review their privacy policies.

How We Use Information

We collect and use information for business and commercial purposes in accordance with the practices described in this Privacy Policy. Our business purposes for collecting and using information, and for which we have collected and used information in the past 12 months, includes the following:

Account Information

You may access, update, or remove certain information that you have provided to us by visiting your account settings or sending an email to privacy@legalmation.com. We may require additional information from you to allow us to confirm your identity. Please note that we will retain and use information about you as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Tracking Technology Choices

• Cookies and Web Beacons. Most browsers accept cookies by default. You can set your browser to refuse all or some browser cookies, or to alert you when cookies are being sent. If you use multiple browsers on your device, you will need to instruct each browser separately. Your ability to limit cookies is subject to your browser settings and limitations. Children

The Website is not directed to children under thirteen (13) years of age. LegalMation does not knowingly collect personal information as defined by the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”). Data Security

We implement and maintain reasonable administrative, physical, and technical security safeguards to help protect information about you from loss, theft, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction. Nevertheless, transmission via the internet is not completely secure and we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information.

International Transfer

We are based in the U.S. and the information we collect is governed by U.S. law.  If you are accessing the Website from outside of the U.S., please be aware that information collected through the Website may be transferred to, processed, stored, and used in the U.S. and other jurisdictions.
