Director of Marketing

As the Director of Marketing, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our marketing strategy. Your primary focus will be on enhancing brand visibility, driving customer acquisition, and fostering revenue growth in collaboration with the Sales team.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and oversee the marketing strategy, encompassing branding, positioning, messaging, and go-to-market plans.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Product, and Leadership teams to ensure marketing strategies align with business objectives and growth targets.
  • Demand Generation: Design and implement campaigns aimed at boosting customer acquisition, engagement, and retention.
  • Campaign Management: Create and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, content, events, and webinars. Manage multiple conferences.
  • Content Development: Lead the creation of impactful marketing content, collateral, and presentations.
  • Thought Leadership: Spearhead initiatives such as whitepapers, industry reports, and speaking engagements to establish market authority.
  • Budget Management: Oversee the marketing budget, allocating resources effectively to maximize return on investment.
  • Partnerships: Collaborate with external agencies, partners, and vendors to enhance marketing efforts and broaden our reach.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and report on key marketing metrics and KPIs to measure effectiveness and drive improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: At least 5 years in marketing roles, ideally within the SaaS industry.
  • Proven Success: Demonstrated ability to drive effective marketing strategies and campaigns in a technology or SaaS context.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership skills with a history of managing and mentoring marketing teams.
  • SaaS Knowledge: Deep understanding of SaaS business models, target markets, and customer personas.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to convert strategic vision into actionable marketing plans.
  • Project Management: Excellent skills in managing multiple projects and stakeholders.
  • Data-Driven: Skilled in analyzing marketing metrics and making data-driven decisions.
  • Digital Proficiency: Experience with digital marketing, demand generation, and marketing automation tools.
  • Communication: Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Industry Knowledge: Up-to-date with trends and developments in the SaaS and technology sectors.

  • Base Salary range depending on experience: $120K – $170K
